B+
1st BIG ride of the season out to Afton and up the Coulee climb with the GSCA crew. Most people were on road bikes - a few of us were on cross bikes with semi-slicks. After the intervals of yesterday, I was feeling a little crispy and not up for the 8:00am 4 hour slog-fest. But the sun was out and it was supposed to be 35. The cross bike with the single 42 was adequate - the roadie would have been much faster and efficient, but it's training and when I do bring out the DeRosa it will feel like a feather. The legs were Kentucky Fried pretty much the whole ride - I'll give it a B+. Maybe I would have felt better without the intervals yesterday, but I'm still not race-ready.
